The mission of the Glacial Minnesota Woman Organization (GMWO) is to promote the legacy of Minnesota Woman for the City of Pelican Rapids and Otter Tail County in the State of Minnesota while treating her with respect and dignity. GMWO helps visitors and residents identify the Pelican Rapids area as a site that contributes to the knowledge of regional and world archaeological history and helps them develop appreciation for and an enriched understanding of the land on which we live left by the glacier at the end of the Ice Age.
